About CPAP Trials
Respirico offer a 5 week CPAP trial period.
The initial appointment take roughly one hour allowing us to discuss sleep apnea and CPAP treatment, mask selection, operating instructions and cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Each week we request you return for a half hour appointment allowing us to review your progress, send your results to the Dr and make any necessary changes to improve your therapy.
During the trial you may try different demo masks and machines. We keep all three major CPAP brands in all the latest styles. A deposit of $290 is payable upon commencement, and this covers the entire trial period. At the end of the trial, patients have the option to purchase their own equipment, continue renting, or just return the equipment.
CPAP Mask Trial
A CPAP mask trial is suited for patients who are wanting to trial a different mask type.

The cost on the day is a simple $30 fee for a one-week trial of a mask of your choice.
In-store
mask fitting
When using CPAP mask fitting is very important. There are varied types of masks and the best way to find the right fit is to physically try them on and be professionally sized.
Purchase or rent
your new mask
If you decide to purchase at the end of the trial, $20 is deducted off the purchase price and the remaining $10 is a non-refundable sterilisation fee of the trialled mask.
Respirico CPAP Trial
A 5-week CPAP trial is for patients who are new to therapy or have not been exposed to therapy for a few years. Being diagnosed with sleep apnea and purchasing your first CPAP machine can be a very difficult and confusing process. Our qualified staff at Respirico are here to make this process easier and are able to answer any questions you may have on all CPAP equipment.

A deposit of $290 is required at the first appointment, which covers the entire trial period. If you buy a machine from Respirico at the end of the trial, your $290 deposit will be refunded towards the purchase price. Please note, public patient fees may differ.
Initial 45-minute CPAP

The initial appointment takes roughly 45 minutes, which allows our qualified CPAP consultants to discuss sleep apnea and CPAP treatment, mask selection, operating instructions and cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Weekly monitoring and
unlimited support
During the trial you will be monitored by Respirico either remotely or in-person, allowing us to review your progress, send your results to your physician, and make any necessary changes. You may try different demo masks and machines from a wide range of brands such as Philips, Fisher & Paykel, Resmed, Devilbiss, Lowenstein, and BMC.
End of trial
appointment
At the end of the trial, patients have the option to purchase their own equipment, continue renting, or just return the equipment.

member care and support
Customers who have purchased their machine from Respirico receive a FREE membership of ‘Respirico Elite’, which entitles them to free support for the life of their machine, as well as other discounts and benefits.
