We are currently looking for an outstanding candidate to join our passionate, customer focused and SA based team in Holden Hill. We are looking for a handyman/woman who is mechanically minded with an interest and/or experience repairing/fixing Mobility Equipment, performing maintenance tasks, replacing spare parts or putting equipment together. No experience is necessary, but evidence of abilities or skills is preferred. Full Time opportunity available with flexible hours possible

You will be based at our Holden Hill branch but will be required to travel between metro branches depending on the needs of the business. 

This role requires product delivery, set-up and servicing, repairs and part-replacement as well as on-the-road and in-store customer service and sales.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • General service of Mobility Equipment

  • Mobility / Assistive Technology equipment repair

  • Installation / fit out and adjustments of scripted equipment & accessories

  • Onsite/workshop repairs

  • Routine equipment servicing

  • Identifying problems & faults

  • Ordering of spare parts

  • Installation of replacement parts

  • Customer appointment scheduling

  • Retail sales & service

  • Product demonstrations

  • Product delivery and servicing

  • Basic customer training on safe usage of equipment

  • Working as a team and also solo

  • Delivering to customers

  • Key holder responsibility

  • Drive sales and growth of business

  • Liaise with key clients ie. OTs, Physio, Nurses

  • Build strong relationships with hospital teams

  • Manage equipment – ordering, invoicing, data entry and servicing.

  • Answering of internal and external calls and emails

  • Responsibility of maintaining company van

All required training will be provided to the successful applicants, a variety of on-the-job training, online training courses, seminars/webinars and required reading will be available depending on the role.

You will work as part of a team of around 70 (and growing) colleagues across 9 stores & clinics around the state. You will work autonomously with clients and also as a team. As Respirico Healthcare is a growing company with overlapping but separate divisions Sleep, Respiratory, Mobility & Assistive Technology there is opportunity for variety, learning and career growth.

Skills & Experience

  • Monday – Friday – Up to 5 days per week

  • Career opportunity with scope for future advancement

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (can be completed during induction)

  • Education – high school, some post-secondary studies preferred but not essential

  • A trade background or experience in repairs, equipment maintenance & servicing advantageous but not essential

  • Background in health, sales, customer service or management is preferred but not essential

  • Up to date flu-shot & Covid-19 vaccination required (Industry requirement)

We are currently looking for two outstanding candidates to join our passionate, customer focused and SA based team at our Port Lincoln and Whyalla stores. Full-time or Part-time roles available.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Find the best solution to fit clients needs

  • Mobility & Assistive Technology Equipment sales

  • Equipment scripting and measuring

  • Product demonstrations and set up

  • Liaise with key clients ie. OTs, Physio, Nurses , NDIS

  • Build strong relationships with clients

  • Drive sales and growth of business

  • Basic customer training on safe usage of equipment

  • One-on-one consultations with clients with follow up appointments

  • Working as a team and also solo

  • Booking appointments and scheduling calendars

  • Key holder responsibility

  • Answering internal and external calls

  • Inventory Management

  • Manage equipment – ordering, invoicing, data entry and servicing.

  • Product assembly

  • Onsite equipment adjustments

  • Identifying equipment problems & faults

All required training will be provided to the successful applicants, a variety of on-the-job training, online training courses, seminars/webinars and required reading will be available depending on the role.

You will work as part of a small team of around 75 (and growing) colleagues across 9 stores & clinics around the state. You will work autonomously with clients and also as a team. As Respirico Healthcare is a growing company with three overlapping but separate divisions (Sleep, Respiratory & Assistive Technology) there is opportunity for variety, learning and career growth.
